The 690 features a better class of wood when compared to its 687 predecessor. Each stock has been carefully matched to its fore-end and oil finished for lustrous good looks. With the average 12g 28" barreled shotgun weighing only 3.35 kilograms, the balance is perfect as always, and the fit and feel is absolutely great.

Kick-Off® is the only recoil reduction in the world that uses two hydraulic dampeners very similar to those in automobile suspensions. All the other systems on the market are based on the deformation of soft materials like rubber, polyurethane or polymer inserts. The difference? 70% less recoil than the nearest competitor.
