Stoeger model SP 312 shotgun is a recent product of the Turkish arms-making company, Stoeger Silah Sanayi A.S.(former Vursan arms Co), which is now owned by Beretta Group (Italy). Stoeger model SP 312 shotgun is an inexpensive but practical and quality gun.
Stoeger model SP 312 shotgun is manually pump-operated, using the sliding forend to cycle the bolt group via two action bars. Bolt locks directly into the barrel extension by rotating its head with massive locking lugs, providing secure and strong lockup and smooth cycling. Feed is from underbarrel tubular magazine, which holds 4 (standard) or 5(extended) rounds, plus one in the chamber. Standard barrels have fixed blade and bead sight, and no sighting rib. Choke is of fixed cylinder type, most suitable for firing slugs and buckshot. Two-piece furniture (shoulder stock and forend) is made from camo-colored polymer. Buttstock is factory-fitted with rubber recoil pad.
