The FX Panthera Hunter Compact PCP Air Rifle is a shorter option for shooters who want the groundbreaking technology from the longer model combined with the hunting capabilities of a smaller and lighter airgun. This air rifle includes a shorter barrel for easier maneuverability while hunting and still delivers powerful shots and multiple tuning options. It utilizes an FX Superior STX barrel to provide the incredible accuracy for which the FX lineup has garnered so many fans across the globe.

As with the larger version, there are dual angled manometers on the block that allow for constant monitoring of both the regulated plenum pressure and the bottle pressure. The Dynamic Block features a short impulse, high-power valve for effective use of air, and the over-the-barrel Dynamic Plenum adds rigidity to the barrel by surrounding it with stable pressure.

The FX Panthera Hunter Compact is designed for convenience and comfort because it has an adjustable reversible cheekpiece, a reversible sidelever, an adjustable buttstock, and a standard AR grip. It also includes a two-stage adjustable match trigger, an adjustable hammer spring tension power wheel, and an externally-adjustable AMP MKII regulator, so it can be customized for different types of shooting.

The full Picatinny optics rail on top has a 20 MOA cant built in that allows for additional accuracy at longer ranges, and the rear Foster quick-disconnect fill port makes filling quick and simple. Basic tips for PCP operation.

1. Make sure the barrels are cleaned prior to use the first time. Don’t use solvent. Mineral based cleaners like balistol should be used.
2. Don’t use a brush or anything abrasive on the barrels just oil and cotton patches
3. Use silicon oil and grease for oiling and lubricating
4. Never let the tank drop below 1000PSI unless it its being emptied for a repair.
5. If filling from a scuba tank purge the air very slowly
6. If filling from a hand pump take breaks every 2 minutes to allow the air in the pump to cool failure can make the seals in the gun and the hand pump wear faster than needed
7. Never exceed the max limit of the tank on the rifle if it is not written on the tank stay below 200BAR or 20MPA
8. Most PCP air rifles will prefer heavier weighted pallets

Important note: it is recommended to not run the rifle under 10BAR to avoid damage to the valve system. Also avoid shooting the rifle until out of gas as this runs the risk of a pellet lodging in the barrel

Muzzle energy listed in the specifications of the rifle is for maximum setting. Due to differences in regulations the rifle is often produced with a lower muzzle energy from the factory. Contact your dealer for more info about muzzle energy in your region.
