This 7x57R ammunition from Norma is a soft point load well suited to hunting deer and other midsize game. Each cartridge in this box of 20 fires a 156 grain soft point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2,608 feet per second.

Soft point bullets expand reliably at the high velocities generated by rifle cartridges. They're a better choice for hunting game animals than many hollow points because they expand without fragmenting and damaging meat or trophies. A soft point round has a partial copper jacket with an exposed lead tip to provide controlled "mushrooming."

Norma Oryx ammunition is bonded, meaning the bullet jacket is fused to the core and will not separate on contact with your target. This provides more reliable weight retention and knockdown power. Norma ammo is loaded in Sweden using non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases.
