It all began with the 110 Folding Hunter. The 110 could be found on many sailors' belts in the Navy. A couple of sailors got into a fight one day, and the 110 Folding Hunter was used. As a result, the captain issued a decree that knives carried could not have a blade length of a specific size. The 110 ended up being too long, so Buck Knives took the initiative and created the Ranger, a smaller version of the 110. The 112 is another traditional favorite.

The Buck 112 Folding Knife is the same as the original but with a smaller, more managable blade. The Buck 112 Folding Knife features an ebony hardwood handle that is nearly indestructible. With the lockback mechanism the blade will remain open when in use, ensuring your safety while at work. The knife also comes with a leather sheath that protects the knife from the environment when not in use, giving your knife a longer life time.

Featuring a drop point blade, this blade style provides a more manageable and easy to use blade while out in the field.
