Pulsar Merger XT50 Thermal Binoculars with Laser Rangefinder

Thermal performance with class.

The Pulsar Merger LRF represents our classic thermal imaging binocular design with an integrated laser rangefinder.

These binoculars are remarkably ergonomic and comfortable. They allow for two-eye observation and reduce eye fatigue. They are equipped with top-tier components that exemplify European quality.

The Pulsar Merger LRF series offers a wide range of European-made sensors tailored to various user needs:

  1. The compact Merger LRF XQ35 is perfect for those who are constantly on the move.
  2. The highly sensitive Merger LRF XP50 excels in any weather conditions.
  3. The smaller Merger LRF XP35 offers its class’s widest field of view at 17.8°.
  4. The Merger LRF XL50 provides HD thermal resolution, delivering detailed images even at high zoom levels.
  5. Premium Merger LRF XT50 offers exceptional performance. Wide 17.5° field of view and excellent image quality thanks to HD 1280×1024/12µm thermal sensor.

Features

European made thermal imaging sensors

Merger LRF Series ensures unrivalled thermal imaging experience. For image capture Merger binoculars use professional-grade, European made thermal imaging sensors:

  1. 12 micron sensors 1280×1024 and 1024×768 offer high definition image quality.
  2. 17 micron sensors 640×480 and 384×288 provide extreme thermal sensitivity.

Detailed and sharp image on high zoom

Optical magnification of the unit can be increased by means of digital zoom. Even at the highest level of zoom image detail is sufficient for identifying the smallest object details. Advanced algorithms enhance image quality and help to achieve sharp and detailed image.

Wide field of view

Wide field of view simplifies scanning and spotting hot objects while minimizing effects of image shaking and raising situational awareness. Excellent image detail on base magnification combined with wide field of view ensure improved viewing comfort and scene perception.

Extra-long detection range

Powerful germanium optics combined with professional thermal imaging sensors provide exceptional detection capabilities. Top Merger LRF units can detect hot objects at distances exceeding 2km.

User mode

Use the brightness and contrast adjustments to maximise the detail and informative value of the image in specific observation conditions. The User Mode function saves selected brightness and contrast settings in the device’s memory providing optimal image quality for the next use of the thermal imager immediately, with no additional adjustments needed.

Classic binocular design

Merger LRF thermal imaging binoculars are built with the classic design of daytime binoculars. With a small form factor, these thermal imaging binoculars fit comfortably in the hand, but still offer appealing external aesthetics and exemplary ergonomics. The six function buttons are placed in the comfort access zone and the most used digital device functions are activated with a single touch.

Comfortable viewing experience with both eyes

The Merger LRF binoculars’ optical design takes into account the nature of human vision. It is natural for a person to receive visual information through two visual channels simultaneously. Viewing with two eyes is less tiring than viewing with one. This means better detection of small or faint objects, and better performance in low-contrast scenarios than similar monocular thermal imaging devices with the same technical level. The interpupillary distance in the Merger LRF binoculars is adjustable from 63 to 74 mm in accordance with the individual characteristics of a particular user.

Precise laser rangefinder

Understanding the target distance is an essential factor in making the right decisions. A built-in laser rangefinder allows you to measure distances in single measurements and continuous scanning modes with an accuracy of ± 1 meters for quick and error-free assessment of the situation.

Combined dual battery system

The Merger LRF Series is powered with two rechargeable batteries: one built-in with a capacity of 4 Ah, the other replaceable with a capacity of 3.2 Ah. A single charge guarantees long battery life.
